20-21 meeting

Translating Science into Patient Care

October 14-16, 2021
Marseille, FRANCE

Dear Collegues and Friends

It is our great pleasure to host the EORTC-CLTF 20-21 meeting in Marseille and invite you all to this beautiful city, October 14-16, 2021.
Year after year, the EORTC CLTF Annual Meeting has become a major event for the scientific and medical community and it is constantly evolving, becoming more popular, innovative and influential, while maintaining high standards of scientific quality and family atmosphere.

As such, it is our challenge and, at the same time, our promise to make the Marseille meeting an exciting one, attractive to delegates and speakers and sponsors, both in terms of scientific content and, hopefully, social interaction.

The central goal of the meeting is to bring together experts from Europe and around the world to discuss the most up-to-date Cutaneous Lymphoma fundamental science, establish the highest priorities for research and development, address current challenges in patient care and improve clinical practice.

Marseille provides the ideal setting to meet these goals, since it combines natural beauty, cultural wealth, up-to-date infrastructures and a buzzing day and night life, if the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

The meeting will be held on the site of the Palais du Pharo, a historical venue located at the heart of Marseille, next to the Sea Port and within walking distance from the Mucem, a great museum dedicated to Mediterranean culture and new emblematic building of Marseille.

It is the Local Organizing Committee’s pledge to make every possible effort to offer an unforgettable professional and personal experience to all participants.

Martine Bagot,
Chair of the 20-21 EORTC CLTF Meeting

Marseille, Le Pharo

Marseille is a major port city of the Mediterranean basin.
Founded around 600 BC by Greek sailors from Phocaea in Asia Minor, which has earned it the name of “Cité Phocéenne”.
The city has many assets: the sea, the sun, nature and culture. Its accessibility and its friendly inhabitants are also strong values that Marseille is proud to represent.
From the Old Port to the Calanques, passing by the Bonne Mère (“Good Mother”), Marseille is a territory with varied and surprising landscapes. The green and natural spaces extend as far as the eye can see around the city.
Traces of a rich history are ubiquitous across architecture, culture and people.By its age, its characteristic culture, its strong identity and its ethnic mixing, Marseille is today one of the most cosmopolitan cities of France.
